Minecraft Earth’s latest update just dropped, and with it released a ton of new content. The update saw the introduction of 3 new but somewhat overdue features along with the addition of 10 more unique adventures.
The Mob of Me can now be purchased using rubies from the store. Previously, it could only be found in tappables or on new buildplates, however it was extremely rare. Since the update, it can now be purchased for 50 rubies in the Minecraft Earth store. That’s the equivalent of around $3.
The update also added the ability to be able to chose custom costumes for your Mob of Me’s when placing them down on build plates. Previously Mob of Me’s would have the same skin as your character did at the time when it was first placed down. This update makes it much easier to have multiple Mob of Me’s with different looks in the same build plate!
The third and final new feature is the addition of a Battery Saver mode. This option can be turned on in the settings and works by turning off your screen when the device is placed upside down (holding your phone so that the camera is at the bottom and not the top). Although this doesn’t seem to be super useful, some players are reporting that it has allowed them to play for longer sessions at a time. Your phone will still vibrate when you walk within range of a tappable or adventure.
One of my favourite new features in this patch is the addition of proximity circles for adventures, making it now much clearer when you’re in range of an adventure.
The rewards screen for adventures now also appears much quicker than it previously did.
Skeletons arrows also now travel at a slower speed, making dodging their bullets just that bit easier.
As mentioned earlier, the new update saw the addition of 10 new and unique adventures, bringing the total number of adventures currently in the game to 54. In other words, there’s a lot of exploring to be done!

Without giving away too much more, there are also 3 new tree house-like adventures, each with rare resources burred deep below. A few of these new adventures have also made use of the new larger 32×32 build plates, making them feel a whole lot more immersive.
Fixed an issue where Adventures didn’t show the player receiving any rewards because it’s 2020 and YOU DESERVE THIS.
Adventures now accurately indicate if they have been played by others. And finally, good news barbarian roleplayers! You can break blocks with swords again.
