Can the iPhone 6 run Minecraft Earth in 2020?

Minecraft Earth requires a device which is compatible with ARKit, which is a framework developed by Apple to make it easy for developers to implement Augmented Reality into their game.

The oldest device which supports ARKit is the iPhone 6S, which means that you cannot play Minecraft Earth if you have an iPhone 6 or any other older model.

iPhone 6 compatability

The iPhone 6 is not compatible with Minecraft Earth because it is not supported by the ARKit framework. This is unlikely to change in the future as Apple has said the phones are too old for AR to be able to run reliably on them.

Minecraft Earth requires iOS 10+ to be able to run.

However, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus can run Minecraft Earth. Check the list below for a full list of iPhone’s which can run Minecraft Earth.
