[FIX!] Can’t find Minecraft Earth on the Play Store?

Minecraft Earth was released on the Google Play Store at the start of 2020. Most people can download the app directly form the Play Store, however for some people the app doesn’t appear.

There could be many reasons for why the app doesn’t appear, such as your device is running on an outdated version of android, or that the game isn’t supported on your device.

The easiest way to find out why it isn’t displaying on the Play Store is to visit its download page on your phone. The page should give a reason for why you can’t install the app on your phone.

However because you can’t search for the app, you’ll need to click the link below that will take you directly to its Google Play Store page. Make sure to open it on your phone!

You should be then told what’s wrong with your device. Most commonly, your device will be incompatible with Minecraft Earth. This means that your phone is too old / it does not have the needed hardware needed to play Minecraft Earth.

Believe it or not, the Google Play Store isn’t the only app vendor for Android. There are numerous other ways in which you can install apps, however the process is a little more complicated.

We recommend using APKPure as an alternative method for downloading Minecraft Earth. APKPure is a website which lets you download apps directly in your phones web browser, unlike the Play Store which is an app itself.

Visit the Minecraft Earth APKPure page and scroll down until you see a list of Minecraft Earth versions. The latest is at the top. Tap the small download icon next to the latest version and wait for it to save to your device.

Once it’s finished downloading, open the APK file. You may be asked to enable a setting called ‘unknown sources’. This means that you’re allowing you phone to install an app that isn’t from the Google Play Store. (This may seem like it’s a security warning, but it’s actually done by Google as a way of scaring people into only using the Play Store. APKPure is completely safe so there’s no need to worry!)

Install the APK and you’re good to go! Feel free to leave a comment if you get stuck or need any help.
