Minecraft Earth – ‘Uh Oh! Something Went Wrong During Sign In’ Explained and Fixed

This is a common error players get when signing in to Minecraft Earth, and is shown when your phone cannot connect to the Minecraft Earth servers. There are a number of different reasons for as to why you may be getting the ‘Uh Oh! Something Went Wrong During Sign In’ error, which is why in this article you will find numerous methods for fixing it.

Minecraft Earth Servers Down

The most common reason for this error is because the Minecraft Earth servers are down. To check if this is the case, head over to the @PlayMCEarth twitter account or the @MojangStatus account to see if there are currently any issues with the game.

If the servers are down, then there is nothing you can do but wait for them to come back online. Minecraft Earth requires an internet connection at all times, and so it is not possible to play the game without a secure connection to the servers.

Check Your Connection

If the Minecraft Earth servers aren’t down, then it may be an issue on your end. The first thing to do is to check that you have a strong internet or data connection. Even if you do have a connection, it may not be strong enough for Minecraft Earth to use to log you in to the game.

If you do have a connection, try restarting your phone and launching Minecraft Earth again. If this doesn’t work, reinstall the app and log in once more.

Sign In With A Different Account

In the rare case where your account has broken or been banned, try signing in with a different Xbox Live account. To do this, you may need to reinstall the app or wipe all of it’s data.   1. Every time I start the app I have to download content to play so I do and when I close the app and start again maybe 30 mins later it prompts me to do it again….should I have to download 120 mb everytime…..?

  2. Not working too, i have tried. But none of these steps working for me. Even trying with different account. Still ‘Uh Oh! Something Went Wrong During Sign In’.

    • Could you try clearing the app’s data in your phones settings / reinstalling? It should prompt you to log in again.
